	Basically similar to the Kiha11-0 design, these cars are designed for use in colder climate areas. Although All of Kiha11-100 vehicles were used on the rural services of the Takayama line and the Taita line, all Kiha11-100 vehicles were replaced by Kiha25 and Kiha75, and withdrawn in 2015.
